We served as Art Directors for the visual identity of Sabaton’s Legendary Tour, working closely with the band across the development of the stage, costumes, props and overall scenic direction.
Our work included: - design and production of Sabaton’s new stage clothes - design and production of costumes for the band, actors, extras and choir - design and development of selected props, including microphone stands, banners, actor's accessories and other stage elements - collaboration on the concept and design of the stage and castle environment
Throughout the entire tour, we also worked as Costume Supervisor and Prop Master, managing and maintaining the Wardrobe Department and overseeing costumes and props from show preparation and fittings to repairs, modifications, coordination with crew and production, and the daily requirements of the show.
Sabaton Stage Clothes
The Legendary Tour also marked the debut of Sabaton’s new stage clothes, designed and produced by us and representing the first major change to the band’s stage wardrobe in roughly 25 years. Redesigning such an established part of Sabaton’s image meant finding the right balance between continuity and change: preserving the military-inspired elements and recognisable visual language associated with the band, while developing a new generation of stage clothes with its own identity.
Being entrusted with such a significant change to an image built over decades was an important responsibility, and one we were extremely proud to take on. The new designs have remained the band’s stage clothes since their debut on the Legendary Tour.
